I know that Nexxus has a leave in conditioner that gives the appearance of thicker hair. Try using castor oil, jojoba oil with a few drops of stimulator like peppermint or rosemary.
Also b5 (pantothentic acid) takes a little while, but in my experiences it made my hair much thicker.
Biotin helps thicken hair strands as they grow through your scalp.
I started using Surge Hair Revitalizer Plus 14 on May 1st, 2004 and it has considerably thickened my hair. I heard Doo Gro Growth Thickening Oil is good too.
I also agree that conditioner washes thicken your hair...I use Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut Conditioner for my co-washes.

Surge,Castor oil and conditioner washes help thicken up my hair also.
I am taking Solaray b5 and using J/A/S/O/N Thin to Thick shampoo and conditioner occasionaly.
Panthenol will thicken hair and is the the 2nd ingredient in nexxus headress leave-in (which is DA BOMB for giving hair thickness and volume). I also purchase NOW Foods 100% pure panthenol and add to shampoos, conditioners and leave-ins -- 1oz jar is about $6 at most health food stores or online. Panthenol is also a humectant and moisturizer for the hair -- really good stuff.
