I read somewhere (Paula Begoun? Makeup Alley?) that products that use paraben based preservatives have a shelf life of two years. It may last three if you keep it refridgerated. The all-natural stuff is good for 1-2 years.
IMO, it's good as long as it isn't smelly, separated or moldy.
I still use Lustrasilk HPC and it was discontinued in the 1990's. It works that same today as it did in 1985.
I keep the unopened tubs in the fridge just to be sure.
