Haven't used oil sheen in a very long time but they had a simple size of this kind and since it said it had mink oil in it I thought I would give it a try a because I had been hearing about mink oil and I was well please gave my hair a nice shine with out the heavy greasy feeling.

I've used that Optimum Bodifying Relaxer for Fine Hair and you're right it is a good one. If I ever stray away from my Hawaiian Silky again, I may give that another shot.

Aveda - Brilliant Universal Styling Cream

I used a dab of this on dry hair on the ends of some of my curls of my 4 day old spiral (curformers) set and it redefined, hydrated and added a smooth shine. Smells good too, has aloe and jojoba. Seem like it would work well on wet curly hair as well.

So do you think Hawaiian Silky is better? I have looked at it before but was never sure which one to get and I was scared cause I never hear anyone talk about it.

For me, yes. I'd used Hawaiian Silky for years then I stopped but I couldn't remember why. I think Gymfreak raved about it and it got me to thinking about why I stopped using it...I couldn't think of a reason. So when I touched up the next time, I used HS Mild No Base (which is lye). I so LOVED the results. It makes my hair texturized but defines the strands so my hair turns out a lot more silky and less frizzy than other relaxers.

ETA: Also, the Optimum is a No-Lye which isn't ideal for my scalp. That's the reason I stopped using it although the results were good. Ladies that like No-Lye and have fine hair would probably like it. BTW, the HS comes in No Lye as well.

Sorry my answer is so long.
