Product Recommendations for leave-in that does it all

Ok ladies, I'm on the hunt for a product I don't know exists.

I'm looking for a leave-in/heat protectant/smoothing serum. Or a leave-in/heat protectant that secretly works on cutting down the frizzies. Wow, that's a lot to ask for in one package. Here's the story:

My best friend loves his hair to be PERFECTLY stick straight, even though he only have the tiniest bit of wave in his hair. He is in a strange place between 1 and 2a. He flat irons every day though and the only thing he uses is this gross wet shine gel. His hair is so damaged it makes me cry, cause he has beautiful hair if it's taken care of properly.

So, I'm putting together a hair care basket for him. The only problem is I don't want to give him TOO many products cause it might be daunting for him.

My only other option seems to be to get him a leave-in/heat protect ( I was thinking Aussie Dual-Personality) and then get him a seperate serum. But if there's something that does all 3, I don't want to miss it.

Artec Kiwi coloreflector "blow serum". Love it. IT used to be sold at jcp salon but if not do an artec product search. I still use a moisturizer and oil but the blow serum softens and texturizes to hair really well.
