Here I am, with another rave!! I tried this relaxer last week after touring Reneice's Fotkie account for the millionth time. She posted that this is what she uses so...I gave it a try!

I bought the relaxer, neutralizing conditioner and shampoo. I relax in sections so I left the relaxer on the front half for 20 minutes smoothing after applying. I left it on the back for 25 minutes. I applied the cream thickly. It rinsed out very easily and the conditioner and shampoo both smell really nice and can be used for general washing and conditioning.

Afterwards, my Hubby even commented on how nicely my hair came out!

My hair has FINALLY found it's relaxer of choice! It did not burn nor leave me under processed! I can't wait to post my HYH til April 1st results when I get back next week!

Glad to hear that your relaxer came out great :)
BTW...is it a LYE or No Lye Relaxer. I've been switching back and forth between ORS and Silk Elements (No Lye) but lately they've been leaving me a little underprocessed. I'm now on a journey to find a new relaxer :)

Lye!!!

The silk elements did TERRIBLE things to my hair. I've lost a lot of thickness messing with that stuff. :naughty:

I've never tried ORS but the only No Lye that my hair likes is Gentle Treatment and Creme of Natural Herbal (this was a fave but hard to find). I haven't used either of those in quite a few years.

Good luck in whatever you choose!

I am glad you like this. I used to use this brand and I also bought the shampoo, conditioner, and the opti intense conditioner (mild protein) and the shine serum. What strength did you use.

I also saw their new line of shampoo and conditioner at sally's, its in a green and gray bottle.

Oh, I forgot...it does leave the texture in your hair. Before I came to the board, I kept thinking...this relaxer made my hair "revert" but now that is what I am looking for. Dont get me wrong No Lye will get my hair bone strait, but I am not looking for that anymore- I am currently using the Optimum No Lye formula. They do make great products

I used that before and it was nice. I love how the shampoo has that citrusy smell and the condtitioner is very creamy. I'm glad you liked it too.
