I just bought this reconstructor and cutebajangirl here on the board let me know that some LHCFers have had problems with it in the past. Are you one of those people? PLEASE please let me know before I put this stuff on my hair!

Just to let you know, I am in need of some serious protien cause my hair is breaking like that's its job.

I've used it and I think it was too strong for me, I followed the instructions leaving it on for 5 mins without heat. No matter how long I left my moisturising conditioner on afterwards, my hair would still be so hard that I would lose more trying to detangle it. Maybe you could follow it with a mild moisturising shampoo like others are doing, this was discussed on another thread, I'll try to find it and bump it for you.

I've never had problems with it..In fact, I like it alot.. but not everything will work for everyone.. I have heard that the generic of the Joico K-Pak is just as good..just ALOT cheaper..

I use the K-Pak recontructor with no problems I use the
K-Pak shampoo first which is moisturizing then apply the reconstructor and follow up with a moisturizing conditoner such as Lust or Kendra.

Sometimes the treatment works for me and sometimes it doesn't and makes my hair a mess to detangle. I can only use it every couple of months after a fresh touch up. Anytime between touch ups it makes my hair worse.
