Problem with new growth...

Hey ladies,
I have a problem. My new growth in the middle of my hair never gets straight after getting a relaxer. I use regular strength and I was thinking maybe I should try super. Would that be a smart move? or should I just stick with regular strength? Thanks, Ciara

Well, personally...I don't think anyone really needs a "super" relaxer...BUTTT...I do realize that the crown of the head is thicker than the rest of the hair (usually).

However, have you tried maybe putting the regular strength relaxer on the crown of your head first? I know that this isn't the way relaxer is usually applied, but to me that makes more sense than putting the relaxer towards the back of the hair (usually the finest part of the hair) first. Who came up with that rule anyway?

Anyway, I say to try that first with the reg. relaxer and see if that works. I can only imagine that while a super relaxer may relax the crown of your hair really well, imagine what it might do to the finer parts of your hair?
