Here is my starting point. This was three days after joining the site. Longest my hair has ever been I think.

This was a month after starting a regimen. LHCF made me a believer. My goal: Waistlength 2010.

Alot of in between stuff. Bandwagons:wallbash:, dusts, a trim, minor setbacks like breakage from dryness:wallbash:, and regimen changes. I've only recently (within the last 3 to 4 months) truly understand what it really takes to keep my hair on my head. Now, I'm retaining all my length (minus dusts). :yep:

Currently:  1 inch from BSL (longest layer) with 2 inches of new growth

I am 12 weeks post here. My hair is blow straight (to defrizz and remove remaining shed hair). My roots are still very thick and I have at least 2 inches of new growth. I will relax at the end of November or December. I just dont feel like relaxing.

Why did I blow dry? I know alot of relaxed ladies that are not bone straight or straight have a problem with frizzy hair. How I Cured Frizzy Hair.... Direct Heat of a Blow Fryer. I havent used it in a very long time. I know its a LHCF no no but my hair is holding moisture 50x better now. Before, I would have to constantly moisturize my hair and co-wash almost everyday to keep hair from being excessively dry. And the more new growth I get, the worst it gets. I'll incorporate use of my blow fryer only to defrizz my hair. But of course, whenever I use direct heat, I dust. Thats a must.

Not for everyone but works very well for me.

OOoooweeee, your hair is pretty:yep: Congratulations!

 Great progress!! Your hair got so thick and healthy! Nice shine, too!! Keep it up. You will have no problem with your goal. :yep:

Girl, those ponytails are to die for. One year geez that alot and the thickness is unbelieveble, gone girl do your thang. Keep it up. LHCF is the truth.

Your hair looks great! Do you trim regularly or is your hair naturally thick from top to bottom like that? And do you use no-lye or lye relaxers? TIA :).

I do have thick hair but I do not relax bone straight either which makes it even thicker....I leave it little texture. I am currently clipping away at the bone straight ends I have (I used to go to a salon to get them done).

In this past year, I have trimmed only once and it was about 1 inch or so. I dust when I use direct heat (once every month, if that) and relax (every 12 weeks) my hair.

Oh...and I am a Mizani Lye Regular user.

HTH!

I've always loved your hair progress :yep:. Wow- look at those ponytails! Congrats to you!

Congratulations, on your progress. I heart the thickness.

Awesome progress. It has a lot of sheen and it is so full. Great job.

WOW I didnt know you guys here posting. I will be posting progress pic of my hair in December for my 2 year and 2 month anniversary. I made it to MBL, cut it to bottom of BSL so I am full BSL now. I am hoping to be MBL again by December.

Natstar, I still use Karishma but I changed indigo. I buy from AyurNatural Beauty. This got my hair BLACK. I love it.
