Here is my starting point. This was three days after joining the site. Longest my hair has ever been I think.

This was a month after starting a regimen. LHCF made me a believer. My goal: Waistlength 2010.

Alot of in between stuff. Bandwagons:wallbash:, dusts, a trim, minor setbacks like breakage from dryness:wallbash:, and regimen changes. I've only recently (within the last 3 to 4 months) truly understand what it really takes to keep my hair on my head. Now, I'm retaining all my length (minus dusts). :yep:

Currently:  1 inch from BSL (longest layer) with 2 inches of new growth

I am 12 weeks post here. My hair is blow straight (to defrizz and remove remaining shed hair). My roots are still very thick and I have at least 2 inches of new growth. I will relax at the end of November or December. I just dont feel like relaxing.

Why did I blow dry? I know alot of relaxed ladies that are not bone straight or straight have a problem with frizzy hair. How I Cured Frizzy Hair.... Direct Heat of a Blow Fryer. I havent used it in a very long time. I know its a LHCF no no but my hair is holding moisture 50x better now. Before, I would have to constantly moisturize my hair and co-wash almost everyday to keep hair from being excessively dry. And the more new growth I get, the worst it gets. I'll incorporate use of my blow fryer only to defrizz my hair. But of course, whenever I use direct heat, I dust. Thats a must.

Not for everyone but works very well for me.

Awesome progress!
Your hair looks thick and healthy.

Question: When you blow dry are you drying semi-wet hair? What's your process?

Thanks for the comments!

BTW...Super! Its my favorite morning drink. Aloe vera juice has laxative properties. You may be "going" a bit more.

:blowkiss: Semi-wet and sectioned. I have very thick hair so it can be a bit much. With a good technique you should be done in about 7 minutes. I first detangle with finger as thorough as possible. I used Redken Smooth Down Butter Treat to airdry a lil. I use a hatchet blowdry with a comb (can not use it with a comb, it will not straighten). Hatchet blow dryer gives me more control. I use high heat on the roots and medium heat on the rest of the hair. I dont stay to long on any section and I may not get all of the roots but thats ok. This helps to defrizz and remove remaining shed hair. After I applied Humectress Luxe and CHI Silk Infusion. Sealed with Coconut oil. I put it into pigtails and dusted about 3/4 inch off each tail.

I need to see some results like yours in a month (the 1st -> 2nd picture)

what did you do in that month? what was your reggie?

Thanks You Ladies For All the LOVE!

This I why I joined this site. Everyone is so encouraging.

KissKiss Ummm...I dont exactly remember to be honest. My regimen changes so much. I was doing things alot differently and using completely different products. I was washing twice a week and DCs with every wash. Moisturizing as usually. I was using CON, Silicon Mix, and other stuff I really cant remember. It was doing a whole lot. I've recently, last 3 months, adopted a K.I.S.S. regimen. I have a completely different regimen.
