Pressing Naturals Flat Iron Or Pressing Comb?

I need to press my hair out for a trim.
Would it be best to use a flat iron or pressing comb.

I would like a sleek press without heavy products.
Any suggestions?

How does that work for you? Doesn't it get extremely hot? The lady at Sally's told us this; in fact she says the outside gets too hot to touch. I thought this was pretty dangerous.
