Pressed hair and working out

I don't know if this question has been ask before but if it has, sorry for the repeat.

I decided that I'm going to leave some of my hair out tomorrow when I get my weave installed. I am fully natural and my stylist has already told me that the hair that is left out will be pressed.

Now that I am a workout schedule at the gym I was wondering what could I do to keep the pressed hair from reverting. One person told me to wrap a scarf around my head and it should help.. Any other suggestions..

Um...honestly...if you are fully natural depending on how much you sweat in your head, reversion may not be avoidable...

She has some good tips. I would just keep my hair up off of my skin and put a scarf around my edges. I recently pressed my hair and just so happened to pick a hot, humid week to do it. My hair lasted all week. My edges, which I was most worried about, didn't revert. All I did to maintain my pressed hair was rub a little olive oil through it daily and keep it in a scarf at night. I was outside a lot during this time, so I was sweating and I think I did exercise during this time too, but when I can, I always just put my hair up in a scarf when I exercise so it doesn't rub on the floor when I do crunches. HTH.

do a search on it because I know there was a whole discussion on deodorant on the scalp preventing reversion (no joke, it really does exist)
