Your daughters hair is absolutely stunning!!!

wow. She is hip-length! That's a whole lotta hair to style. How does she wear it during the week?

Finally Free,

I know that you're currently transitioning to natural. I wanted to ask you:

1. Is your goal waist length + beyond like your daughter?
2. Why didn't you ever relax her hair? I'm so glad you didn't!!!
3. Did you decide to go natural after coming to LHCF or was your daughter your inspiration?

Damn I'm nosy

Are you kidding me?????? ***********faint*************:drunk::drunk:

That is seriously gorgeous and I'm frigging jealous! Her hair is so beautiful!

WOW thats amazing! i was wondering do you trim her hair?

Your DD's hair is beautiful and healthy looking. She is additionally blessed to have a mother so knowledgable about haircare. I was in shock when i first saw the picture and wanted to know more before I could even comment.

It is simply beautiful!!!

OMG... is this for real? Her hair is unbelievable! could you post some pics of her hair in its natural state too?

No, you're not being nosy, just inquisitive, aren't we all?:yep:
I don't have a set goal, never did I just let my hair do what it do!

I felt no need to relax my DD'S Hair
My DD and I talk about a lot of things during her washes, it's like our girlie time as though we were at a beauty salon. One of the things we talked about was relaxers. I taught her that her hair is more versatile being natural appose to being relaxed. I taught her that she could choose to wear her hair curly or straight, oppose to being just straight. She also knows that being relaxed requires much more TLC, than being natural.

I bc'd before coming to LHCF.

Same questions goes for you and your DD if you don't mind

Finally Free-

What can I say that hasn't already been said?

I see there is a lot of TLC going on. Very nice!

Do you have any pics of her hair in its natural state that you could share?

TIA

Thanks for your answers!

I bc'd before coming to this site. I transitioned and yes my inspiration was my daughter.

Relaxing my DD's hair was never an option. Both my daughter's have natural hair. My mom relaxed my hair, but in the 80's that was the norm. We have so many more options now.

(HANDS ON FACE LIKE KID FROM HOME ALONE MOVIES)...Unbelievably Beautiful...Have you considered letting her do hair commercials...seriously...she just do a few of them and that will probably cover college and maybe a trust fund.

Could someone post the links to the youtube videos?

You're Welcome!

My aunt relaxed both me and my sister's hair at ages 5 & 6 yrs. of age, and gave us a tape all the way around with a blade that men use for shaving. She had us looking like 2 skined back chickens:lachen: When my mom got home from work it was game over. They:arguing:&:catfight: She :cry4:& didn't speak to her sister for approx. 2 years after that. I've been relaxed ever since, up until now. My mom felt like she had to keep it up. If she had a site like this, she would have known about transitioning, so that we could go back to being natural.
