I just started taking Prenatals b/c I heard it is really good for your hair, but now I've started seeing that Prenatals don't help at all has anyone here taken prenatals and gotten good results?

Kalesha, I continued to take prenatals following a miscarriage. They did nothing for my hair; they certainly didn't stop the shedding that followed the loss. Perhaps someone else had a different experience that they can share.

sorry its not the prenates that help - its that little bun in tha oven

Before I join the hair board I took prenatal vits the one over the counter did nothing for my hair but my hair grew with prescription prenatal vits and I was not pregnant.

I take prenatal vits w/ extra iron only b/c I am a vegetarian and that is what the docs have always put me on for low iron. Don't know if they have really helped my hair. I assume that they have since they help keep my body nourished. It is like taking a multi vitamin to me. (They are prescription)

I agree with NYCchild. It is the increased blood and blood flow during pregnancy that produces the hair growth. Also I tried the Prenatals and got very noticeable breakouts due to the triple amount of vit A!! So needless to say I stopped that.
