Anyone going/ been to premarital counselling etc?

If so what type of things did this cover, what did you learn?

Do you think it was beneficial to your relationship?
 
They cover everything. Especially the questions and issues that people tend to forget about like financial expectations, potential children, relationships with existing children and their parents, marital expectations, they help you figure out if you are in love or in lust and if you are really ready for marriage and all that comes with it. This is only to name a few things.
 
Yes, me and my SO have been dating for 6 yrs. and marriage is becoming a very frequent topic of conversation, so before we made any big moves I want to make sure we know what we're really getting into. You know clear the air... We've only been to two sessions thus far but I do appreciate the very open and honest communication. It's always great to have someone with objective views on the situation.
