The search feature is not working for me at the moment, so I apologize if there is already a thread relating to this. Anyway, I am currently about 11 weeks post and am planning on getting a relaxer next week. I have about an inch of 4z new growth that hurts like HECK to comb through! Whenever I go to get my hair touched up at the salon my stylist usually plows through it and causes my head to hurt pretty badly. Is there ANYTHING that I can do to prepare my hair for my touch up? :ohwell: Any tips on detangling thick new growth? Should I blowdry and/or flatiron my roots to help with the process? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. TIA!
