Pre-Relaxer Products

I could be wrong, but I thought the Pre-Relaxer products (i.e. Affirm Protecto and other products included in relaxer kit) are suppose to be applied to previously relaxed hair only to protect it from over-processing. Is this not true?

What are Pre-Relaxer treatments suppose to do and how do you apply yours?

Well Mizani has pre-relaxer products for your scalp and hair, but you have to buy them separate.......I use one on my scalp and the other one on my already relaxed hair.....they work, but very costly.....
