Hey ladies

Do you have any recommendations for Pre-Poo conditioner oil mix?

Thanks

Trader Joe's Nourish Spa mixed with coconut oil.

Burt's Bees Avocado Butter Pre-Shampoo Hair Treatment

That stuff used to make my hair super soft. Vegetable glycerin is the first ingredient, though, so keep that in mind if your hair is not glycerin-friendly.

Thanks. What effect does it have on your hair?

I lose less hair during detangling and it makes my hair pretty soft before shampooing. Plus, coconut oil is a penetrating oil and the TJ Nourish spa is silicone free and cheap to boot. :yep:

I just spritz my hair with water and put plain coconut oil on it. I learned the hard way that mixing too many products and using too many products in my hair leads to nothing but trouble lol. KISS ;0)

I also do this method sometimes if I want a quick, simple application. I find coconut oil to be very penetrating and protective when applied to wet hair. I use for extensions too!

Another vote for Coconut or Vatika oil! I find hempseed oil to also be a nice, light prepoo that adds a lot of shine and help fill cuticle gaps. It is a ceramide oil.

I use this sometimes-cost too much for me- but is a good product. Soft hair for sure. I have to oil or wet mine first, sticky product.

Bumping!

I would like to know a good pre-poo just purchased some EVOO and Shea butter and trying to figure out how to include in my washing routine for tonight

I use Suave or whatever conditioner I have on hand. Once I apply that to my hair, i then apply JBCO, Peppermint Oil, Grapeseed Oil and EVCO. This always leaves my Hair so soft.
