pre-perming preparations

After over 3 months of stretching my relaxer, I have decided that I am too lazy to go natural. I have been wearing cornrows for the past 3 weeks now so that I wouldn't have to do anything to my hair until Thanksgiving. Meanwhile I have been using mtg at least 4 days a week. I know that you are not supposed to get a perm with mtg on your scalp so I was wondering if it would be ok for me to wash my hair on Sunday even though I am getting a perm on Tuesday? If not, do you ladies have any other suggestions?

Since it would be two days in between, I think it will be fine to relax your hair. Ive done it before with no ill effects, I just made sure I was properly based. HHG!
