Prayers Needed: Health Scare

I am asking for your prayers regarding a health issue I'm having: yesterday, I found a small lump in my right breast. I had it checked out today, and the doctor has referred me for a mammogram (for which I will have to travel out of the country). I know we are commanded not to worry, and I am trying to stay positive (knowing that the vast majority of breast lumps are benign), but I am concerned. I have two small boys, and I can't bear the thought of not being around for them (or DH, for that matter). Please pray for us!

I have been there. I found a (painful) lump in my left breast at the age of 27. I had just finished grad school and started college. It was very scary for me. My MD was very proactive and had it looked at.

It turned out to be a fluid filled cyst. I have dense breast tissue. Over time it went down, and I followed up with a specialist for 18 months after that. I pray all goes well and that like my situation, its NOTHING!

Praying for a good report please keep us updated for good or not so good. Ain't nothin like a bunch of women of faith praying on your behalf!!!!

In Genesis 49:25... God has promised that you will have blessings of the deep, blessings of the Breast and of the Womb...

... because of your father's God, who helps you, because of the Almighty, who blesses you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings of the deep that lies below, blessings of the breast and womb..

He has promised that 'none of 'these' diseases' which had been placed upon the Egyptians (those not His) would He place upon you.

He has promised that you will not fear evil tidings for your heart is 'fixed' it is established in the Lord (Psalm 112)

"I have heard thy prayers, I have seen thy tears... I will heal you..."

Update: I had a mammogram and ultrasound today, and I'm just fine. Although the doctor could feel a distinct lump, when she looked at the images, she could not see any kind of mass or anything to be concerned about. It's just lumpy tissue. Praise God! Thank you all for your prayers and concern!

Oh so happy for you Precious One... Glory unto God, who answers all of of prayers, for He is God who hears and answers all.

Praise God for His Grace, His Mercies and His Word...

No deeply rooted cancers nor cancers of the breast nor of the womb (uterus).

We have been fearfully and wonderfully made... disease fear us, not us the disease. Praise the name of Jesus. Amen and Amen.
