Prayer chain for the children

Every day this week, I have read a news article about very young children committing murder. The latest is a 7 year old who beat his half-sister to death, because she received more attention.

I would like to form a prayer chain for our youth. It's disturbing to see what is happening to them: pedophiles stealing their innocence, drugs killing their brains, babies killing each other.

Please ladies, join me in a prayer for the children. We need to form a union; satan is busy, but God is able.

I'm with you webby...children as well as the elderly have always held a special place in my heart.

O/T some time ago (last year) I was reading the Yahoo News and stumbled upon a baby from the Middle East that was born with a deformity...so I start viewing the Yahoo message boards and to my disbelief, start reading mean and nasty racial comments about this poor baby. I immediately broke down and cried like a baby. How could people be so cruel?

People are ignorant and satan uses them to perpetuate his deeds.

Lord, we come before you today on behalf of the children, Your children. They are lifting up weapons to hurt one another, when they can barely read. They are indulging in sins of the flesh, when they cannot even drive, hold jobs, or add and subtract. Our children are running rampant and are out of control. How have we failed them? What can we do to bring them back home, Lord?

Lord, please show us what must be done to recover these lost souls; they are too young to be held accountable, yet we are not guiding them in the way that pleases You. Help us to help the babies, Lord. They need to put down the knives, gun, beer and weed. They need to be more respectful and learn to honor their mothers AND fathers. However, we the parents need to be better examples. We need to stop turning a blind eye when we know our neighbor is abusing their child. We need to get involved in the life of the child who may have no father present. We need to stand by their sides and SHOW them how walk the right path.

Lord, we also pray for the elderly today. Please, have mercy on the elders who may need medication, but cannot afford it. Bless the elderly who are lonely and just want someone to talk with, the elderly with neighbors who walk by and won't even knock on their door to see how they are doing.

Lord, let us be more respectful of our elders, the wise who have lived and can share advice with us. We too will be old some day, if we are fortunate; we should be mindful of this.

This is a wonderful idea. I stand in agreement with your prayer and will add this to my daily prayer list. :)

Lord, we pray for the two young boys who were beat by their very young mother. Only you know what led this mother to cause such injuries that 5-year-old Tyquest and 7-year-old Tyrone needed to be hospitalized. Regardless, we ask mercy for them AND for Everline, their mom.

Lord, we pray that these boys be treated well in their foster home, because we know that they have suffered enough. Please place them in a loving, nurturing home, where they will receive hugs, kisses and positive experiences.

Lord, we send a special prayer up for the young child, who stabbed and killed her 11-year-old playmate. Yes, what she did was disturbing, but Lord we KNOW that she is just a baby, despite the fact that the judicial system is trying to treat like an adult. Lord, we pray for the friend that was killed, pray her soul is with You and that her short life will be remembered. We pray for both families, as their lives will forever be scarred by this tragedy. Let them all find peace.

Lord I ask for forgiveness of all of my sins so that my prayer may be heard. Please bless these children. Instill in them a desire to have a relationship with you. We know that they are special in your sight because you told us that WE should become like children. I pray that you would put a hedge of protection around them. Keep them safe as they come and go. Bless their teachers, both in home and school. In your Son's name, Jesus...Amen.

Lord, please protect all of the children in this Brooklyn neighborhood, where shoot outs is a common occurence. Lord, please be with these babies as the walk to school, load and unload the bus, play outside of their homes.

Lord, please restore order.

AMEN!! Praying in agreement for our children is needed. We need to cover them with The Blood of Jesus! :clap:
 
Jesus, this is tough for me to compose, as I'm just quite angry and don't want to come to You in anger, but it needs to be done.

I ask that You show special favor to the young child, who was intentionally infected with HIV. Lord, his biological father did not value his precious life, but You, His Father in heaven, know his worth.

Lord, I pray that You will limit his suffering and let his life not be in vein. As a result of hearing about him, I now appreciate the bond between my son and my husband I will do all things in my power to ensure that the bond never be broken.

I also pray for the mother, cannot imagine what she's going through at this time in her life. I want to pray for his father, but cannot out of sheer anger, but I ask that you look past my anger and be merciful.

Praise the Lord my Sisters!

I am totally in agreement with this prayer. As I was in church last Sunday, the Pastor had the youth stand and asked the church to cover them in prayer. I have prayed for them as well as other youth and will continue. What is this world coming to? Yes, we know Satan is up to his mess yet again. But we must stand firmly on the word of God and stomp on the head of the devil. He is not to have his way with our babies, they are our future and must be preserved for the divine purposes ahead of them.

This site is such a blessing. I am new and this is my first time in the Christian forum. What a true Blessing!

I not only lift the children up in prayer but I also send up a prayer for each of you. May God continue to bless you.

Welcome to the board and please do continue to pray for the babies. They need as much prayer and understanding as they can get.
 
Lord, I can't concentrate right now. My head is spinning after reading my sister's post. I ask that you intervene on behalf of Starian, her 10-year-old neice and ALL of the children in this family.

Lord, one family should not have to endure so much suffering, but of course only You know what is best for all.

I come to you this evening not for myself, not for my own needs, but on behalf of sister Starian. I beg of you to show mercy Lord. Please, do NOT let these young lives go out in utter ruin. Jesus, don't let their only memories be of abuse, be of suffering, be of torment.

I cannot even continue to write Lord, but you know what is in my heart. More importantly, you know that the hearts of these children are still pure; they have been washed in your blood, so for this I am asking that You will be gentle with them Lord.

Lord, forgive me for not keeping this thread alive. I recognize the importance of keeping our children in prayer, but this subject is depressing for me.

I come to You today, to on behalf of Shasta & Dylan Groene. Lord, please heal Shasta's heavy spirit; she witnessed more than a child should ever have to see. She may have even witnessed the deaths of her entire family, including Dylan. Lord, please don't let her entire life be scarred due to the actions of a sick individual.

I also lift up the baby who was raped by her own grandfather. I don't know her name, but You do. Lord, please heal her young body, let her memory fade, let her life flourish and be prosperous. Lord, please cover her family, who suffers right now. Help them to do what's best for that young child. Please, show them mercy.

I would also like to say a prayer for the children who witnessed a morbid scene in Africa. They are now orphans, no mother and no physical father, but You are their father and I know that You will protect them. Lord, please don't let them fall into the wrong hands; they have endured enough. I beg that You spare them from any more suffering and allow them to live a happy, normal life.
