:wallbash: After all the rave reviews........how could you leve me hanging like this After sneaking you in past my DH........I though me and you would be better than this:nono: I just don't get it!:perplexed
Shampoo..... not moisturizing!
Cream Rinse......not detangling!

Why oh why?

Holla at me ladies who have used it! Am I using it wrong? Does it have to be 'souped' up? I poo'd, DC with Lafier Collagen & Placenta for 30 min., & followed with the cream rinse.

I've heard that the lafier can be drying (strong protein), so to use a moisturizing conditioner after it, then proceed w/ styling your hair. Maybe thats it?

I just bought the creme conditioner, i didn't even see a rinse. I hope i didn't waste my money.:ohwell: How many weeks post are you?

I agree. When I use Pratail I use the whole line. POO, Conditoner then rinse. All purple Pratail.

Oh no!! Girl don't do this to me!! I just went on a major shopping spree and this was one of the products I purchased b/c of all the rave reviews. Maybe it will be different for my hair. If not, hell, it was only $3.99 so I don't feel too bad if I decide to toss it.

This is my very first time commenting and I would have to agree that this stuff is something AWFUL! :ohwell:

I was VERY dissapointed in the results, especially after purchasing (2) gallon sizes based on the amount of positive reviews, I was looking for something to help aid when stretching my relaxer.

I attempted to use it on three different occasions only to be dissapointed each time. As for the end result, this concoction had my hair looking worse that it has ever looked... :nono:

Now, I wish I would have $aved my money and only bought the smallest size available to test it out before jumping on the bandwagon. I would have been $50 richer.:perplexed

It was nothing special for me either.

I felt the same way about Silicon Mix.

Those were my first and only purchases of Dominican products. Maybe my hair doesn't like them? They were ok, just nothing to write home about.

I didn't read all the responses, but personally I would have never used the hard protein and then used a silk protein rinse. that would mean overload and hard hair for me. i would have done:
poo: porosity control or clarify
protein dc
moisturizing dc: nacidit olive oil, or humecto, etc
if rinse: nacidit olive oil--protein free!

edit: I only use the praital silk worm dc, but like someone said, I would use the corresponding products together.

I agree with you. I won't be using a protein dc before using th Silk Worm rinse though. That is way too much protein so I'll have to counteract it with the Nacidit Olive Oil or ORS Replenishing Pak or something. I'm glad I didn't spend a fortune on the stuff. I'm still in my trial and error phase, so the $4 spent on it really didn't put a dent in my wallet. I'll be posting my reviews on it as soon as I get it. Hopefully something good will come of it.

I use the shampoo, rinse, and conditioner (I never *mixed* shampoo/conditioner lines)...The conditioner is my holy grail Dominican product. The rinse is just okay...I only use it *after* the shampoo then follow up with the conditioner. At other times, I skip the rinse all together because the conditioner immediately removes any tangles. That's too bad it didn't work out for you. :ohwell:

Oh no!:nono: Sorry to hear that. Don't give up just yet. Are you due for a clarifying? I got my best results using the poo, the rinse and following up with the LL leave in. You couldn't tell me nothing.

It has protein in it so like the other ladies have said, maybe too much at once? IDK but I wish you'd give it another try before you decide. Did you at least like the smell?

I purchased 2 small jars of the conditioner, the purple one and the one with aloe vera. Neither conditioner was all that great. I'm glad I didn't spend that much cash. I finished them up by using them for CWs.

I feel this way about most dominican conditioners.. nothing special. I use one dominican product consistently and thats Lacio lacio leave in. I've never been crazy about any of their conditiners tho...

now for my hypocrite moment.. i DID just purchase the 16oz silk worm rinse. you know just to test it out and see if its as non-eventful as the others:rolleyes:

I hope if give s me at least decent results so i can use it as a prepoo or something

My hair loves oil, so I have added additional coconut oil to it, and also some coconut milk for new growth. The DC detangles my new growth well, but I have to watch it with the protein deep conditioners of any kind. I must say overall, the dominican conditioners are making a world of difference in my hair. I started using them in may.It is funny, how in my trial and error, the last products that I have tried are proving to be the best for me.

I actually LOOOOVED the Lafier! :look: It DID NOT make my hair hard at all. Very strong and pliable actually. I guess Praital just aint for everybody! :nono:

Oh Well! Back to my beloved Silicon Mix and Capilo Sole & Cinnamon! :lick:

Sidenote: It's a good thing its working for you DivaRox, cuz you'll probably be getting it come meeting time!:yep:
