I would actually do this . . . what say you?

i would wear this too. I wore it sometimes when i was younger and it was always a style that looked good on me

yup...its cute...somebody would have to do it for me cause i cant cornrow if my life depended on it...hmmm i wonder how it would look with flat twists?

I love that style on Nia... though, I do think it's one of those hair styles that just anyone can wear and still look trendy

I wore my hair like that the entire 6th grade school year back in the 80's. My hair broke of really bad my 5th grade year when I first started doing my own hair. It grew out really nice, by the time I went to the 7th grade I was able to war my hair down. My mother just unpackaged all those photos.

I wear my hair similar to this almost all the time now. The only difference is that I twist instead of braid. It stays well and is easier to deal with than trying to make a pony tail.

So that's what they're called! :giggle: I've been wearing that style for the past couple of months to help grow back my hair near the hairline.

Yes I do wear my hair like this but not often. Its a quick style and even though I'll throw a hair clip or flower to accentuate I still feel old-fashioned.

this is actually one of my signature styles. i do two large flat twist instead of cornrows though. it has a regal effect to it in my opinion. i've gotten complements from random strangers (men and women) when i wear this style and it take all of 5 minutes to do. :)

ETA: Longhairdontcare11 rocks this style lovely. maybe in 2 more years i'll be on that level. YouTube - Pt 2:2 Crown twist tutorial
