I wouldn't risk exposing my hair to more chemicals when you are going chemical free. I vote leave it the way it is, especially if the texlaxed part is closer to the roots. Less chance of breakage between a natural/texlaxed line of demarcation than a natural/relaxed line, if that makes sense.
I transitioned from an accidental texlax. My line of demarcation was less pronounced and I didn't have to deal with breakage there. I vote to leave it be. You may as well start getting practice dealing with more textured hair if you plan to transition. It's a different animal.
