I have a few assorted questions that... no one has ever answered for me and I can't find out the answers by myself!

Could you dearies possibly help me out?

1) Is using porosity control conditioner once a month too much?

2) If Wild Growth Oil had minerals like potassium and magneium and others, then wouldn't that build up on your hair in the same way that minerals in water would?

3) Does anyone know of a site that has detailed intructions on how to do styles like cornrows/flatwists/bantu knots?

4) Is an acv rinse consistiing of 2 pints of water to 1 tablspoon of acv:

a. super weak
b. weak
c. medium
d strong

5) Do tea tree and rosemary oils have cleaning properties?

I'm waiting for your answers! :whip: :whip:

Okay, I'll tell you what I know.

1. I've never used porosity control before. I've wanted to try it but never got around to it. But I guess if you hair is mushy because of too many deep conditioning treatments using it once a month wouldn't hurt. But I wouldn't use it after my hair felt like normal again.

2. I guess wildgrowth would build up on your hair if you use a lot of it everyday. But I think some of the ingredients like mineral oil is used so the other oils wouldn't go rancid. I read somewhere that without certain oils in WGHO that stuff would go bad quickly. I think if you wash your hair at least once a week and use a clarifying shampoo at least once a month, the build up shouldn't be a problem.

3. The best place I saw instructions for detailed twists was on nappturality.com. I still can't do them but from the instructions it seems like very small french braids to me. I can do cornrolls much better than twists and that's not saying much because I can't conroll. But what I can do if cornrolling is MUCH better than my twist outs.

Now about 4 and 5. I couldn't tell ya. I still have yet to do an ACV rinse. I also haven't used tea tree and rosemary oils, even though I want to. I hope that someone else can answer those questions for ya.

4)Pretty weak but still effective. The ratio one uses is relative to how one's hair reacts to it.

5)Yes they do. You can google both of them for tons of information.

Apple Cider Vinegar: I use as a pre-shampoo clarifier once every 6-7 weeks. I just shake up the bottle and work it through my wet hair. :)
