You can do it three days before & right after...Before to protect your hair & after to help seal in moisture from your comditioner....
:)

I needed a related thread to put in my two cents about Porosity Control conditioner. It is the truth! After using it after every wash for three months, my hair has made a real turnaround. It is stronger, dries in half the time, and does not soak up everything I put on it in 2 days. I normally moisturize my hair with ORS Carrot Oil Creme, which is very creamy and thick. My hair would soak this up. Now, when I apply it to my hair, my hair feels greasy. It does not soak it up like before. I guess I need to apply much less now. This stuff really works!

I have this, but my lazy self always forgets to use it weekly like I want to... I truly love this product! :spank: BAD ME!

I did it this week and it was ok........

I always use the conditioner after a relaxer but I never thought to use it before. Will do this on my touch up.

Any BSS. It's in a Slate Blue bottle with White writing....
I think an orange line under the title but not sure...

What are the benefits to using this product? Do you use both the shampoo and conditioner? How does one know when it is needed?

I use the Corrective Conditioner.... Step #2 in the three step system.
The whole thing is to help close your hair cutiles & keep the moisture closed in. This makes it harder for the moisture to escape or enter the shaft. I use mine when rinsing out my conditioner...
Sometimes I do a second conditioner rinse after my deep condition treatment & mix in the Porosity to seal it all in! I learned that off the LHCF board! :look:

So . . . let me get this straight . . . I can use my shampoo of choice followed by a deep conditioner and the Porosity Control Conditioner as the final conditioner during every wash session?

Do you notice a significant difference when doing this? In addition to hair drying faster, I assume it may hold a curl better also, right?

Yeah, you got it... First thing I noticed was so much slip and no tangles... I don't remember if I dried any faster, but my hair was just so much smoother in general.
