Hi Ladies,

As I've said several times this week I'm tired of sleeping in rollers but I think my hair looks a little crazy right now when I do a wash-n-go (my hair is too short, my head is too big, and I still have relaxed ends). I shared these pictures earlier this week so I'll do it again

I've cut off so much of my hair that I can't seem to bring myself to cut off those last few inches, so my wash-n-go's look crazy! Does anyone know what Beauty by Lee (see below) used to pull her hair back? All of the ponytail holders I have would suck the life out of my hair at the base (LOL). My hair would not look this full if its life depended on it!!!

OR does anyone have a curly updo that might work for my in between grow out length (that they want to share) until I get the hang of flat twist or twist outs. Beauty by Lee also wore this style but I couldn't get a good picture of it. From what I can see it doesn't look like a banana clip holding her hair back. Can anyone tell is she just using bobby pins?

I'm also open for any other thoughts, ideas, suggestions that will get me out of rollers at night????

I don't know what she uses but look up PuffCuff's on Amazon. I'd recommend the larger size for a fuller puff, I think it has a 5" opening.
They are VERY comfortable. I say this because I am very tenderheaded and prone to tension headaches; I can wear these cuffs all day with no problem.

Thanks Ivonnovi!!

I just ordered the 5" one (it was the largest one I saw). I'm going to try to buy both to see which one works!!

Thanks ladies!!

@Lisa, You're welcome!

Quick note: Use one hand to hold the cuff in place and use the other to Gently pull/tug on the hair around the perimeter & make your way to the center to create a fuller look. Work in a swirl pattern while "fluffing the roots". This should result in your puff having more height and width.

When styling wet hair I've had to do this (fluff roots) several times throughout the day as my hair dried, my curl pattern/hair type is tighter in the crown area where the clip rests.

IHTH, because your hair looks much fuller than mine, and I have very fine strands; SO slicking your hair into the cuff and then fluffing should give you a much fuller look. Judging from the volume of hair you have in the OP, I think that cuff should all but disappear when you fluff. :afropick:
