Does anyone know how to get rid of flyaways?
I think that I might be catching my hair on the rollers when I do a wash-n-set, but I'm trying to grow the flyaways out.
I have a few. I smooth mine down with a little serum, leave-in conditioner or moisturizer (whichever one I'm using after I've shampooed / conditioned my hair).
I'm not opposed to smoothing them down, but I guess I was trying to figure out how to prevent them all together. I read somewhere that if they are not new hairs, they must be broken hairs.
Oh, you're looking for PREVENTION. Now that's a whole different thingy.
IF they're broken hairs, I would suggest something to keep the hair moisturized even more. For the outside, a good moisturizer and a good conditioner. From the inside, vitamin e pills with an efa. My above suggestion would be for NEW HAIRS (since a lot of us have them - especially from taking vitamins and supplements). HTH!
Thanks Allandra!! I'll be handling my hair a lot less over the next several months, as I will be on maternity leave. I'm going to try your suggestions...I'll let you know how I make out.
