Hey Ladies,
How many of you use pomades? How do you use them? :scratchch Can you use them to make a sleeker blowout or ponytail?
Post your fav pomades!

I love pomades! My favorite is Elasta's Mango butter which is very moisturizing, smells great and makes my NG look straight. I also like Cantu's Strengthening cream but it makes my hair kinda hard so I don't use too much of it.

I use the Arosci Hair Dressing and Mink Oil...I use pomades whenever I am applying direct heat, like my flat iron or curling iron...or I will melt a little in my palms with low heat from the dryer..rub it in to my hair like an oil..

I didnt know this either...I have it, and relli don't know what to do with it...was about to chuck it....I'll try it this way...

BTW, I like Elasta QP Glaze, tho it is more like a gel, the co nsistency is more pomade like...It leaves your hair soft, not crunchy....But, I think it is way better on relaxed heads...it will hold down some severe NG, but only for a couple hours:lol:

i use it to either sleep down my edges or to add shine and softness after styling. i use it for my bantu knot out and to revive the style the days after. it smells so good

Hey There!
I didn't know EQP mango butter was considered a pomade. I have that :)

Any other suggestions?

I'm sorry I just realized that it's not a pomade just a great moisturizer! I like Aura's Humectante Pomade-it really does a good job of keeping my hair smooth. I don't like Elasta's Glaze because the smell is overpowering and it drips down my face:mad:, I like IC's glaze that one is very good without smelling too strong.

Le Kair - castor Oil pomade.

i use it on my ends after i have airdryed and let my moisturizor soak in. this has kept my ends thick and strong!
