Polls Capability - Am I Missing Something?

I wanted to post a poll but I don't seem to have that capability.
I went to "Post New Thread" and from what I read, there should be an option for a poll and responses.

I don't see that anywhere on my screen. Can someone help me?

When you are creating a new thread, there is an option at the bottom to check "post a poll with this thread." You can do up to 10 poll options. You wont get the section to add the poll items until you submit the thread, so you may want to have an idea of what you want as the thread will appear before the poll options are entered.
Once submitted, you will also get the options for making it multiple choice, public -where you can see who voted, and if you want it to close after a time period, you can specify the date.

I kid you NOT! It's there NOW after I read your post and I SWEAR it wasn't their before when I tried. Did you turn on a switch or something?
