just skimmed over these posts...seems i wash my hair less than everybody here lol...i never wash more often than every two weeks. never have. now its even longer (as far as actually using shampoo to wash) now that i do my washes with conditioners more often than not. been doing it this way for what seems lik forever , and my daughters hair too.

I use shampoo on saturdays and wednesdays I Conditioner wash it.

Lately, due to sheer laziness I've been doing a shampoo and instant conditioner 1x per week. No conditioner wash.

I've been slacking. Ugh.

Thanks for posting this- I've got to get myself back on track. I just washed it yesterday, but no deep conditon or treatment or anything. I'm going to do the "works" on Wed. I'm excited

Irresistable, if I had all that you that you have, I would try to wait to wash too! Detangling must be a haze. Especially after the job of pressing it. I remember those days...

I try to wash it once a week but I got in the habit of daily conditioner washes. I'm trying to get back to once per week.

I wash everyday with a daily shampoo (loving Neutrogena Triple Moisture Shampoo right now) and condition with a moisturizing condition. Twice a week I wash with Nioxin Cleanser, Scalp Treatment and then condition with Structure & Strength or Moisture & Strength.

Irrestible we wash around the same amount. I cant wash my hair that frequently. My hair grows more when its washed between 10-14 days.

exxxxxactly girl, im always puttin it off for as long as possible lol....and thats why i dont press more than like a couple or few times a year...its all just too much dang work. man i couldnt take doin all that any more often than i do right now

mine too ..all that washing would have my hair mad at me

and i would hate it too , this way we just seem to get along better

I'm trying to stick to once a week & using light products now that spring is around the corner.

I do the works only once a week. This includes a wash with Kercare (X2) and deep conditioning with JOICO ( one hour). Once amonth a do a clarifying wash and once a month I do a protein emergency nexxus treatment before the deep conditioner.
