No, I guess.

I am not sure what “reversion” means, though.

It does not revert my relaxed hair and my new growth has nothing to revert.

I guess if I flat ironed my new growth, anything liquid would revert the flatironed new growth. But, I use NTM Silk Touch Leave-In anyway. It reverts my new growth if I have flatironed, but most of my moisturizers do anyway.

I would think so as well, but I don't thinkt here are enough reviews and comparison's yet.

I am interested to know, too.

I would test it but the 4% creams are just too thick for me. DSD mixes it with a little oil to smooth it out. I may try that and report a comparison.

She is my role model(physical at least)!!!! Her and Melyssa Ford. Working on getting my body together

Question...how well does it mix with oil? I would probably add some kemi oyl and wgo to it. Does it mix well...enough for me to use a bottle with a spout (like the WGO bottle)?

How is that possible? I have never had relaxed hair revert. Well once Emergencee waved up my hair a bit, but never reverted it.

Now, I would like to know since people are concerned - how can something revert permanently relaxed hair?

no girl, it is a good question. I never thought that relaxed hair can revert, though. Although I think Shamboosie mentions in his book that no-lye reverts. I don't believe everything in his book anyway. It was either in his book or that other hair care book written by a guy.

Hey Ladies! I'm a newbie well, not really cause I've been lurking for quite awhile. But I was wondering how often is everyone washing their hair when they apply the M.N., Neosporin, or MTG? And how often do you apply it?

And how long did ya'all wait after touching-up? I bun my hair that same evening, for the week, and would be prepared to start my M.N. regimen that night. I dont care about reverting roots or anything like that.... just eager to begin these applications once again.

I stopped a few days before but I think it prevent my relaxer from fully "taking" . i think I will wait a week next time. I started using it a week after a relaxer.

I am using all three simply because I believe that MN is effective for growth, but MTG is effective for growth and thickness, and since MTG has not been a problem for me I will continue to use it. I did a patch test with MN...I'm scratching already! but that's a good thing. I used the capzasin HP and yowza...it's pretty warm but it does give my hair a nice texture and I mixed it a little basil oil.

Please let us know how your relaxer goes and if the MN causes any adverse effects.

If you burned more than usual? etc...It would really help me and others that are just starting to use Miconazole Nitrate (literally I am going to walk over the pharmacy right now...I've read so many posts on this now...I want to try it)

Okay, no problem ladies. I will be the guinea pig, and report back after Friday how the relaxer took after stopping the M.N. five days earlier. Mind you, I was parting the hair in little sections and applying the M.N. very generously and lavishly.

Using an old 4 oz jar, I squeeze the contents of the tubes into the jar (the desired quantities), add some of the La India Creme and stir with a butter knife. If I were to use Emu Oil or some other liquid, I would mix until I had a consistency that wasn't quite a liquid but definitely not a hard solid either. In fact, my mixture now is very nice, it spreads smoothly without being oily to the touch or runny. I don't want the oilies like I had with the MTG.

That's it. If I were using the MN straight, I would still put it in a jar, less explaining to do.

I STARTED USING THE MIXTURE ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO. I AM EXPERIENCING GOOD GROWTH. I GOT A PERM AND DOMINICAIN BLOW OUT THE WEEKEND BEFORE STARTING SO THAT I CAN REALLY SEE HOW GOOD THIS MIXTURE WORKS. IN THE BEGINNING, I MUST ADMIT, I TOO WAS TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF IT WAS GROWTH OR MY PERMED HAIR KINKING (REVERTING) UP. SO THOSE WHO THOUGHT THE SAME THING, DON'T FEEL BAD. I JUST THINK IT'S A MATTER OF DISBELIEF WE ARE EXPERIENCING FROM SEEING THE AMOUNT OF NEW GROWTH MANY OF US ARE GETTING. I DID A STRAND TEST BY PULLING A STRAND OF HAIR OUT MY HEAD AND MEASURING THE NEW GROWTH. A FEW DAYS LATER I PULLED AND MEASURED THE NEW GROWTH FROM ANOTHER STRAND FROM THE SAME AREA. THE AMOUNT OF ADDITIONAL GROWTH WAS AMAZING. AND NOW I AM A TRUE BELIEVER.

I've been using this for a little more than a week and had some newgrowth before this, but it feels really soft. I'm texturized so having newgrowth isn't such a big deal, but usually I'm feeling like getting another relaxer already, but my MN mix is actually keeping it smooth and soft, easier to maintain. I believe I wrote in my LHCF journal about the components.
