Please recommend a GOOD DETANGLER for type 4 hair!

I use the Kids Organics Shea Butter Detangling Moisturizing Hair Lotion. But this isn't for you if you want cone & paraben free.

I was just trying to remember the name of this product coz I seem to recall someone who used to put it on her baby's hair and let it "marinate" and then the knots would just fall apart easily and she'd be able to comb the hair with no tears from the baby.

Try full cream yogurt (as Deep Conditioner-See Naptural85) and also try a mix of 50:50 Aloe Vera Juice and Marshmallow tea in a spray bottle. Just took out my yarn twists yesterday and it was CRAZY easy.

Hey lady - Nonie. I know this must've been an old post. I used that product the 1st time I was natural. And it was great. The only reason I don't use it now is b/c I'm more careful about what I put in my hair & cones over the long term just coated my hair & blocked moisture from getting in.

Talah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifyer. plain and the medicated formula. The medicated formula will have our scalp feeling like a peppermint patty. I love both and you can get it anywhere. Price range? Bout 7-8 bucks max.

KeraCare Detangling Mist works for me. I also use it's a 10. Also, the KeraCare Leave-in has a lot of slip and helps with detangling.

I like Herbal Essences Honey, I'm Strong conditioner, Darcy's Botanical's Herbal Leave-in spray, and Aunt Jackie's Knot on My Watch (dry hair only).

I want to try S-Curl and the Cowboy Magic.
