There are no words when the piercing weight of such injustice falls upon the hearts which have been so broken, Trayvon's parents; first by their son's untimely death, then the trial of hope which ended with a crushing blow to an already crushed heart of these parents.
Yet, God is still our God and He always will be. There is justice in God. His gracious name is Jehovah Misphat.... "The God of Justice". And in this name we place our trust.
"We" looked to 'man' to bring justice; the expectation of a law system which is controlled by man and man's corrupted heart. (Jeremiah 17:9)
In spite of it all, God still brings 'Justice' and God's Justice shall prevail for Trayvon and for others like him. It starts with forgiveness, releasing the anger in order for God to heal and to prevail.
Jehovah Misphat.... We give you all the praise, the honour and the glory.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
