Yes, we are to pray for everyone. But, his being a very real, serious candidate for the president of the United States will put him in a position of danger.

You are absolutely right. I had not even thought of praying for him. I do not know why I am just taking it for granted that since he is doing so well that the color of his skin will not be an issue.

Yes, Obama is a real inspiration for AA's and blacks everywhere. A family guy who really seems to care for his children and the country. (anyway this is just my opinion)
Alot of people may be angry because they feel that he is not staying in 'line' since he does not fit into stereotypes.

Being so busy in our lives, we can sometimes forget some who can potentially make history. He is a humble man, that I adore. Thanks for starting this thread...I have just said my prayer. The beginning of many others...stay blessed.

My concern is for his health. He looks so 'drawn and tired'. He actually look 'withdrawn' for there are now many, many more demands upon his time and energy.
My prayer is for God's wisdom and divine intervention in this man's life to prevail. Surrrounding him with the total peace of God to stand in peace, not worry nor fear, for his true destiny is in the Hands of God. It will be what God created Obama to be. Let this be Obama's peace and rest.

In the same manner that God protected "Jesus" from King Herod, from the crowd which grabbed him and sought to throw him over a clift; from satan's temptations in the wilderness and the protection at the 'Cross' (yes, Jesus was protected at the Cross), so shall God protect the Destiny and care of Barack Obama and his loved ones.
