Ain't no shame in my game. God is concerned with every single one of our concerns. So I'm still gonna pray. Sherman has to stay tonight at the animal hospital. He has urine infection. He was given antibiotics. I just thank God that it was not anything worse.

Thanks Ladies, Sherman is still in the hospital. Originally it was said that he had crystals. But he has an actual blackage. So he had to get a decatheterization. My Mom said it was so sad when they transfered him from the emergency hosital to the original hospital. She said he had a little urine bag 
.

My sister just had to rush Sherman to the hospital as he was standing in the littler box for a long time crying. The vet said that sometimes male cats get blocked when urinating.
Please pray that everything is ok and that it is something minor. thanks
My prayers are with him!! He has probably got a urinary tract infection or has crystals in his bladder which may have caused a blockage ...It is very common and he should be fine unless he has a blockage, the he may just need a few days in the hospital. It sounds like she caught it early because she was so observant!! Let her know to start feeding him more canned food to increase the amount of water in his diet! Please let me know how it turns out!

Sorry...Next time I will read the entire thread first before responding.. I just saw cat and prayer and I kicked into vet mode. Anyway...If SHerman has a catheter and won't urinate on his own, then he may just need a day to let his bladder get back to normal size and learn how to contract again. When he was blocked his bladder stretched a lot.. praying he will be fine and peeing up a storm anyday now! 
Tips to get Sherman to drink more water... My cats love the tabletop water fountain Zen like things that recirculate the water. You know the one that trickles and sounds soothing like a waterfall or gentle brook. I just keep it filled with distilled water and change it daily. My cats will sit and look at it mesmerized for hours then start drinking from it like there is no tommorow.

And Zeal, I'm tossing up a prayer for Sherman's betterment. He's a cute furbaby. You hate to see the furbabies in any type of pain, just like any "baby" that is dependent upon another for their well being.

Sherman is home! He is very sluggish and is standing in the flower pot. The Dr. said that there is a 50- 50 chance that it can happen again. But we are speaking permanent healing in Jesus name.
Pretty Gal is hissing and going off. I guess it is that smell he has from the medication. The vet told sis to wipe Sheman down in saline solution. Pleae keep Sherman in prayer and I will do the same for your fuzzies. Remember ladies. God is concerned with every single one of our concerns. So don't think it's it's crazy to come before the throne for things that other people may deem as crazy.

Sherman is in need of prayer again. He is acting strange. I don't know if it is because of the heat or a broken heart. My sister said that every since she started going out with " a guy" the cat has been acting strange. Now he is getting in the flower pot like he did before when his urine tract was blocked. In my heart and sould I don't believe it is what is was before. But the little guy is not acting like his chipper self. Please pray for little Sherman. Animals are like babies. they can not tell you what is wrong.
