I know they've been discussed before... :look: Has anyone had any success with them. I found this one on Sephora and it looks interesting http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P90611&categoryId=&shouldPaginate=

I originally wanted this iron

But then I saw this one...

Somebody help me please! Money is no object...
I got my tax refund so I'm ready to order today!

TIA to everyone who has some input.

Will this be your first ceramic flat iron? I don't know anything about those flat irons, so I can only say IMO that it's better to get a 1'', because it's more versatile than larger flat irons.

No. I currently own a jiberre (sp?) 1.5 inch. The Jiberre snags my hair and I understand the tourmaline is even better with ceramic.

I keep trying to tell people that Jilbere flat irons dry out burn and snag hair. I had a Jilbere and that's what it did to my hair. At that time I was still transitioning, so I had a lot of new growth to manage. The Jilbere mad things worst, because the only style that looked right with a lot of new growth was straight from the root to the tip and the straightness didn't last with the fake ceramic Jilbere.

Yeah, I was looking at the tourmaline irons also, but since I wasn't sure about it I bought a CHI.

I have a friend whose hairstylist used this "wet to dry" flatiron on her hair when her hair was damp. It would be an understatement to say she was less than pleased with the results.

One side of her hair is now a full inch shorter than the other side - that's the side she allowed to be ironed with this tool. When she saw what was happening, she threw her hair in a ponytail and refused to have any additional service done. Now that side looks much thinner.

I am in no way saying that this wouldn't be a great flat-ironing tool- I own a jade flatiron myself and would lose a toenail to keep it, I just don't recommend it for "wet to dry" as advertised.

Thank you Gals for your responses!:D

I think I'll go with Sedu. It's received many positive reviews and it's costs less that the T3.
