I've have this same exact question but haven't felt comfortable to start a thread. Sadly, I see I wasn't alone.

That's what I'm saying. This is a hair forum, after all, a place to gather knowledge and discuss things pertaining to hair. Product recommendations fall along that line. And sometimes people don't want to have to search through millions of threads to find what their looking for. It's much easier to just go ahead and ask the question.

The site says you can use it two ways: 1) get your hair very wet and rub the bar all over your hair, or 2) get your hands wet and lather the bar in your hands and use them to get your scalp clean. I use the 2nd method with my shikakai bar and let the suds run over my hair with no problem so I don't see why it wouldn't work with these. HTH
