Got two bottles of Giovanni the other day. Now, you know I'm heavy handed. Is that why my hair was hard after I used it?

I dont' know if I perhaps left some condish in from co-washing or what. But, my hair was definitely hard????????????? I truly invite replies re. this.

Giovanni Direct Leave-In contains proteins. Too much protein maybe???erplexed
