I  Giovanni Direct Leave In !
It's creamy, moisturizing and detangling. It's the only leave in I have been using for almost a year now. I love it !

Giovanni Direct. I think alot of people are gonna chime in and say Giovanni. Its a favorite.:)

Qhemet Biologics Olive Cream Detangler, Giovanni Direct Leave-in

The Giovanni Direct made my relaxed hair feel gummy, but now that I'm trying it on my natural hair, it works like a charm.

Oyin's Honey Hemp Conditioner works pretty good for me. I bought it as a deep conditioner but it was too light for my hair so I started using it as a leave-in.

I use Sidr Tree Butter Balm from Qhemet's Biologics.

'You have to rub in in your hands before applying because it is very thick.

Ever since I switched to no cone leave ins and moisturizers, my hair has been doing so well. I just don't get dryness and breakage.

I love my cones, but they have proven to have a special place and a time - not in my leave-ins or moisturizers.

ITA. I absolutely can NOT use a leave-in or daily moisturizer with a silicone in it. It will leave a waxy film on my hair and make it feel sticky in a matter of days.

That said, my absolute fave leave-in is Giovanni Direct. I sometimes use it in conjunction with Qhemet Biologics Sidr Tree Butter Balm.:)

Nexxus Humectress can be used as a leave-in.
Salerm 21 doesn't have cones and plenty of silk.
Qhemet is my favorite at the moment.
Aphogree Green Tea Reconstructor (has light proteins that are great at stopping breakage)
StyleOne Moisturizing Conditioner no cones and can be used as a leave-in.

My only staple that has cones is Aveda DR. My hair HATES cones. They turn my ends will turn into a crunchy fried mess in a matter of days.

ETA: My hair doesn't mind water-soluable cones or silicone oil so check the labels for the products listed above if your hair is sensitive to those too.

Here's a short list of some of the silicone free leave ins I have tried:
Shea Moisture leave in
Curls Milkshake
Giovanni Direct
BBD Stretch (After a while my hair rejected this but many people love it and BBD claims that there isn't any silicone in it.)
My Ashas.com Silk Rose Elixir

Afro Detangling Creme by Robin the hair lady. This is the BEST moisturizer that I have ever used (and, trust me, I have used many). It's like Giovanni Direct but two times better.

Aqua (purified water), Rosemary (Rosmarinus Officinalis) Oil, Nettle (Urtica Dioica) oil, Thyme (Thymus Vulgaris) Oil, Birch Leaf (butela alba) oil, Chamomile (anthemis nobilis flower) oil, Clary (salvia sclarea), Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia), Coltsfoot leaf (tussilago fargara), Yarrow (Achillea Millefolium) Oil, Mallow (Malya Sylvestris), Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) oil, Soybean Protein (Glycine Soja), Cetyl Alcohol (plant derived), Tocopherol (*Vitamin E), Trace Minerals, Citric Acid (corn), Sodium Hydroxymethlyglucinate, Grapefruit Seed (citrus derived)

my botlle of salerm has silicones, amodimethicone and Cyclopentasiloxane

bumping... If someone has something else to add...

I am looking for cone-free leave-ins also...

TIA

I am not sure if anyone posted, but since my last comment, Sidr Tree Butter Balm has been discontinued.

I am not using Qhemet's Olive Oil Detangler Leave-in. It is really good!!!!!!

Giovanni Direct is my FAVORITE leave-in conditioner. It gives my hair great slip, and after my hair has dried, it is so soft and bouncy.

Africa's Best Liquid Mayo leave-in is my favorite. I also like to use silicone free conditioners as leave-ins for airdrying like Kenra MC. :drunk:
