I've been checking fromnaturewithlove and they have been out of Amla powder for like the past month! Where are some other places to get good quality amla powder? Thanks!

I just ordered some the other day from amazon.com. Do a search for hesh herbals and you should see it. If not pm me and I will send you the link.

Try looking for it in an Indian store in your area. The prices are so much better than online and the quality is outstanding at the ones that I shop.

I'm always in shock when I see how much people charge for stuff online. I pay $1.99 for Amla and Shikakai powders and a 200g box of henna from the Indian stores in my neighborhood.

ITA! I refuse to pay those online prices. I get my amla, shikakai and ayurvedic hair stuff from local indian stores as well. I do love me some www.fromnaturewithlove.com henna tho, which is dirt cheap = 1 pound (453 grams) for $6.95. Its worth paying the $25 minimum order and shipping. :yep:

Thanks ladies.

I definately prefer to buy my henna from FNWL because the henna I bought at a local Indian shop was very poor quality. I could probably pick up the amla powder locally but I figured I'd just get it all from FNWL, plus with the minimum order, etc.

If someone can recommend shops in Chicago that sell quality henna and amla powder, please do. Until then, FNWL it is...(or any other online vendor with quality product).

I'm in shock when I look at those online prices, too. If that was the only way that I could get them, then I would only be able to treat myself once every blue moon.

Mestiza- you are so right. I stock up when i purchase online because I can't find any place locally. I also look for good deals.
