With all the new products out there and so many new brands already reinventing themselves.. do you still buy/rely on the beauty classics, such as Noxema, SeaBreeze, PermRepair, Alberto V05 hairdressing?

I knew that. I sometimes buy Noxema every now and then. Do you remember Queen Bergamont and Royal Crown scalp and hair conditioner? It was one of my favorite staples we used on my family's hair for pressing and such. I remember using it when my mom always comb and brush my hair for school as a little girl. I may buy it only for my ends. I don't use it very often like I used to. But it is still on the market, though.

Yes, I remember bergamot, esp. the green one!!! loved the smell. Now that I've learned you shouldn't grease your scalp, I won't use it again. But I still use the PermRepair. I still have half a jar left

Laela,

What do you use to make your braid outs so shiny? Mine always turn out a tad too dull for my tastes.
