Hey Nonie, how are ya? Thanks for the compliments. I don't have a brother with locs-I think you are mixing me up with Ediese gorgeous brothers maybe? :lol:
 
Your sisters hair is pretty...and so silky looking. I also love your bun. Do you have any full pics of your bun? I'd like to see how you pinned it up. I've been doing a lot of buns and ponytails lately. Looking for some variety.

Man, the women in your family take care of their hair! Your mom's hair is gorgeous and together - I've seen a lot of bad dreads where the hair were super dry and at different stages of breakage. Beautiful family by the way :)
 
You have a very beautiful family! Thank you for posting your pictures. I wish there was a thread showing the range of hair types in a single family. It would be interesting to see.

Hi comike-thats the best shot of my bun I have. It's pretty much a twist and tuck under. I used the hair pins that are sold by the asians in the little stalls you find in the malls. Kinda like this-my pins are about 3 inches long so they have a good grip on the hair.

Beautiful family and beautiful hair! and it seems like almost every bald baby that Ive seen ends up having the most hair out of anyone. My hair was practically nonexistent and very fine until I was about 3 and then all of a sudden my hair became extremely thick and i had tons of it :lol:

Bills-your story gives us hope. We joke amongst ourselves saying she'll be doing comb overs when she's older.
