Thanks ladies...Yes I am 14 weeks post. I think the wrapping at night (w/ a silk scarf) really helped straighten the roots. Just used some pure jojoba oil, wrapped, and went to bed.


Oh and apples, I wasn't intentionally hiding, I just learned how to post pics .

Well after my Curlformer success, I figured I'd try my rollerset again. So, I watched Macherie's video and took some notes.....and it worked!! (Shout out to Macherie!!)

Tools & Products: Pink Ion Dryer from Sally's, Lacio+Water in spray bottle, purple & grey rollers.

Dryer Time: 90min

Results:

Check out my major new growth, 14 weeks post!! Definitely doing relaxer this Friday.

Finger-combed after I took rollers out. No blowdry, no flatiron!!

Next day after I slept w/ it wrapped.

Length check!!

Finally! Success!! No more flatiron for me!!

I love the saran wrap technique she does. Did you do the saran wrap too? It gave me a great flat iron look.

I watched her dvd 6 times before I finally did her rollerset technique.

Because of Marcheire's DVD and curlformers I don't think I will be wearing braids at all this summer. But I won't be making any promises on that statement.
