OMG! You're hair is gorgeous! I can't wait to see your BC picks in January. You'll be able to do so much with it:grin:

I hope so. Last time i was natural i really didn't try anything with my hair. It was either in one puff, two puffs, or tiny plaits (sounds like PLAT..did i spell it right? lol)

Thanks! Another partner:) Yeah!! Um, when do you plan on doing the BC?

April 09  That will give me 2 yrs of transitioning :yep: I'm too chicken to BC before then, especially since I am able to manage the two textures. I admit I'm getting tired of the bun tho.

Cool, I believe I got my last relaxer in the last week of March...like within the last three days of the month. Anywhoo..yeah the bun is annoying, but functional. Shoot if you can manage both textures then go for it. I'm just getting anxious. i can't wait to try new things with my hair that i didn't do the last time i went natural.

Girl I remember you venting in another thread about those haters.

You hair looks AMAZING. Very beautiful waves. I can't wait for you BC so I can see your results.

Your textureis gorge! I'm tempted to take a scissors to the relaxed bits in your last picture.. your doin well to resist the bc (",) These 4 months will fly by in no time.. watch!!

I was wondering if this was the same poster with the funny venting thread re: being a true 4b?

Well either way, these are beautiful results... gorgeous healthy hair!

That's what I thought too. It is easier when most of the natural hair can all be pulled in the bun, instead of having like a half-ro on top of your hair pulling the relaxed ends...feel me? lol
Anyway, much luck and happy BC-ing on new years!! :drunk:

Thank you. And looks like you are having great progress yourself. Now to answer your question...I'm not sure. Well it depends. I guess now, at this point my hair is easier to me to handle than it was say 2-3months ago. The newgrowth is at a length where its a big chunk of my hair so my daily "bun thingy" is easier to get together.

BEAUTIFUL HAIR HUN!!!!! I WISH YOU THE BEST IN YOUR JOURNEY and WOW I AM SHOCKED BECAUSE I REMEMBER MY FIRST TIME TRYING TO TRANSITION and after 9 months I ran back to the perm wow!!!! I admire your courage and determination. DETERMINATION AND PATIENCE ALWAYS EQUALS TO A BEAUTIFUL FULL HEAD OF HAIR IN THE LONG RUN!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you. I can't even call them haters anymore...they are just negative people and that doesn't have anything to do with me. Yeah that sounds about right. Boy have I calmed down a lot:) Thanks for the compliment:)

I know right. Everytime i look at the pic i squint my eyes to see the outline of my natural hair, and I'm like "it would be so easy to cut those ends off" LOL. For the first time I actually feel like the next 4 months will fly by, because the last two went by in a blink. I'm feeling good, just a lil anxious. I went natural before, but I am more aware of my hair now. Thanks:)

no, that wasn't me. I vented about family members and how ignorant they were when it came to my transition. But thanks for the compliment anyway:)

Yeah i totally feel you. And now that the natural hair is longer the pony/bun thingy doesn't hurt like it did around months 5-8. BAck then it just felt like it was pulling everything. Can't explain it, but i know it feels better now.

Thats awesome! Gives me more encouragement that I can transition that long too:yep:

Yeah you can do it. For a while there, I didn't even think that i was transitioning. I only knew that I wasn't scheduling a relaxer. YOu feel me? Its all about perception. I was just going along with my daily activities. But this summer was rough. I was always all up in my hair. Thats why I cut that natural bang and a piece at the back of my head. :lachen: Just being impatient. BUt just keep on doing what you're doing. I heard of ladies on here transitiong for much longer.

That was deep. :) Thanks girlie. I appreciate. Hey, I figure, when you're ready for anything, you'll do it. So maybe round 2 will be better for you:) (shoot, this is my round 2 lol) Thanks again.
