Pibbs???

Can someone please explain to me what a Pibbs is and why it's such a big deal??? I can't find anything and I asked in another thread but no one answered me.....

It's a very good brand of professional blowdryers (they also make other equipment like steamers). I purchased mine thru Sally's a little over a year ago. Dries my rollersets in 1/2 the time. Here's a pic of the one I have. Pibbs 514
