Pibbs owners: How do you lift the hood?

I'm so sorry for asking such a dumb question...but I can't figure it out for the life of me! How do I lift this darn hood? I know is has to be in the "off" position, but it won't lift open. What amI supposed to do? Thanks in advance, and I do apologize for the question

It's manual. Lift it straight up. When I first opened the lid, I had to leave the hood in the open position so that it woul loosen up. I believe I keep it in that position when not in use. My springs were quite strong. erplexed

Thanks for responding! So I just lift it straight up from the bottom? Should there be some resistance? I tried it, but I didn't use force b/c I didn't want to break it.

Yes, just lift it from the bottom. You should not have to apply force

do you mean the visor? If so, just lift it from the little tab and it should be a little stiff as your're trying to lift it and then it will make a snap sound, but it's not broken though. That's just the way it sounds. I had to call the company i ordered it from to find out how to lift the visor. so try that if you haven't already.
