The Moisturizing Styling Balm with Quinoa Oil sounds interesting. Seems to be some kind of combo styler and moisturizer. I don't think that I'm prepared to spend $20.00 for 4.22 oz. just to try it out, though.
Thanks. I will share this one with my niece as well.
I went to this site and was suprised at all the positive reviews (28) on this relaxer index2 (course/thick hair). Here is a quote that I took from one of the reviews: "This has got to be the relaxer that celebrities use because it is gentle, fast, and it straightens great without taking out any body." This might be why Andre use it on Oprah.
I agree it is a no-lye relaxer, because it doesn't have any lye in it, but I'm not convienced this product isn't good because it's "No-lye". Could it be that this product will bring "No-lye" into a "New Era" and thus be just as good if not better than "Lye" relaxers? After all didn't we start using "Lye" relaxers because at that time it was what we thought to be the best the market had to offer? Only time will tell if this new product is able to prove it's self to be or not to be "The best the market has to offer".
I plan to try the Intense Nutrition Shampoo as well as the Intense Nutrition Conditioning Mask. As for the relaxer, for me, the jury is still out.

I've never used it. But it was on the "gentle relaxer" list of an old BHSGO chat transcript. It has a pH of 9-12. Most relaxers they researched were in the 12-14 range. Liquid Drano has a pH of 13-14...
Does anyone know what the straightening ingredient in Phyto Relaxer is? Eggs and soy my foot...
I like some of the Phyto brands better than the Phytospecific line (i.e. Black Line) esp. because a lot of them have mineral oil and/or petroleum. Phyto Products

Pretty scary, huh?! I wish I could post a link to the whole transcript, but when I try it doesn't work... You would have seen some familar names!
I wish I had known about BHSGO back in the day. It seems like all of the members have reached their hair length goals.
I found out this line is sold at Neiman and Marcus as well as Norstrom. I called Norstrom as well as their toll free beauty catalog dept. and the have my beloved product satisfaction guarantee no questions asked (sort of speak) return policy.
