I WAS WONDERING IF YOU NEED TO STRETCH THE PHYTOSPECIFIC PERM, IF NOT, HOW HAS IT WORKED FOR YOU, GOOD OR BAD...WANTING TO TRY IT, THX.

If by stretch you mean waiting longer between touch-ups I think it's much healthier for your hair, regardless of the relaxer you use. Now if the key word is "need" I'd say no. Some women can keep their hair without stretching but I would suggest you stretch with phyto. I stretch three months and use index II. Besides it doesn't hurt your wallet to stretch when the product is so expensive!

Thank you for your response. You made very good points, that apply to me, I dont think I could afford to relax with it every 8 weeks. I love you phyto results. Congrats on your progress.

I would agree. I use phyto Index 2 and i still stretch for about 10-11 weeks. I think it would be way too expensive to do it every 8 but if i had it like that ($$ wise) i maybe would cut back to 8 weeks or so. Great question.
