Hi Ladies,

I have some questions about this product for those of you who have used it. Is it used to keep your hair kind of straight and frizz free until you decide to relax again? Also, how do you use this? Is it after shampooing or do you just use it on dry hair before styling? TIA

I have this and I've not figured out how to make it work on my hair.

Mine came with the relaxer. I'm thinking it's just to relax the curl until u get a fresh perm, but i wanted to verify.

i mix this product with giovanni direct leave in conditioner and put it in my hair before i rollerset and go under the dryer... phytotheratrie recommends the use of it with the phytorelaxer to extend the benefits or effects of the relaxer...

Thanks SL! I was wondering....I will be picking up a tube from Sephora...

I spent over $400 on Phyto products in a salon and I was not happy with any of them including that product. The only thing that I like on the Phyto is the relaxer.

I was wondering the best way to use this product as I have two samples of it. THanks SL

The bottle says it's specifically designed to work on both relaxed and natural hair. Hhhmph....maybe just not as natural as mine! LOL

Such a disappointment it was.

I have the $22 3.3 fl oz tube, used about 5 times....on it's way to some lucky recipient....

I tried to use it for rollersettting, but it dried kinda crispy.

It was a dud because of my hair type. It didn't straignten my 4b hair. Maybe it would've acted as a texturizer if I was a type 2 or 3?

thanks for the replies ladies. sherrylove, did you use it immediately after relaxing for your rollerset? I think when I do relax I'm going to mix it with a conditioner after relaxing before I blow dry.

Thanks again Sherrylove! I will definitely try this and post results. If you do it with that beautiful head of hair of yours, then I must at least give it a shot. :)
