Photos: Hair Progress

I know I don't post a lot on this "side" unless I have a color emergency but I made updates to my album. I even included a photo of my hair from the front so you can see the true results of the blonde highlights I applied two weeks ago (see "Help, I'm a blonde" for the full drama). I have a long way to go and have since postponed my goal of long hair to focus more on having healthy hair. This will entail a better diet and making trips to the salon for those dry and *very* uneven areas to be tended to by my stylist. Any tips or suggestions are always welcomed from my hair inspirations on the board.

Thanks, I think my growth spurt is over. Lately, it hasn't been growing as quickly.

Thank you, ladies. You all have such strong hair so it's really encouraging to peek in your albums and see how you maintain progress. You especially DSD!
 
First of all, you are so pretty. What are you doing to get all that growth? It looks mavelous. I am still loving the highlights.

Thank you ladies. That is really kind. I am always nervous when I post pictures.

And thank you Reginia. First of all I feel so bad...you are my Atkins buddy and I fell off the diet in the last weeks. Shame on me!

Anyway, I elimated heat and washed daily and left it down (no ponytails, buns, etc.). I eliminated caffeine from my diet completely. Before I did so I was drinking at least two mochas a day. In addition, I was drinking a lot of protein shakes, working out every other day and was consistent with Salerm (shampoo, conditioner, and 21) and Alter Ego (Crem) products. That's all I can think of. I'm trying to get back on track so I can repeat that same success.
 
No problem L. I am still slowly chugging along with Atkins. I have lost some but not as much as I wanted. Some is better than none though. Just PM so we can kept abreast of Atkins secrets.

Oh thank you Shatani. If you go light don't go as bright as me but just seal your ends and be gentle. I am treating my hair like fine China these days.

The color is very light (make sure you keep it VERY, VERY moisturized, and I would use NO HEAT on it), but it looks GOOD on you!!

I agree with the other ladies, your hair and hair color looks great! Not too many people can wear that blonde color, but you definitely can! : )

FOr sure there is alot of progress between June/July. Look at the wet comarison shots. Now look at the crease under your arm. YOu can see clearly in June that it is above the crease but in July it goes a little bit below the crease. To me that is a clear inch or more.

Sometimes it is hard for us to see the growth while it is happening, that is why pictures are so great.

By the way you and your hair are VA-VA-Voomish.
